Job summary

Tieto Banktech is seeking an AI Engineer to join our Mobile team in Front&Advisory. This hands-on role focuses on building and operating cloud services, APIs and integrations behind AI-enabled mobile banking experiences.

You will collaborate with mobile and backend engineers, designers and product managers to translate AI opportunities into secure, scalable capabilities for banks and customers, while prioritizing reliability, security and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Five years of production software development and operations.
• Experience analyzing data and applying AI/ML to create value.
• Backend APIs, integrations, and scalable service architectures.
• CI/CD, monitoring, observability, and production troubleshooting.
• Secure data handling and AI in regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Join a cross-functional, autonomous Mobile team with ownership of a defined domain.
• Identify where AI creates value in mobile banking products and engineering practices.
• Shape patterns, architectures and best practices for secure AI-enabled solutions.
• Use AI-assisted workflows to understand, analyze and modernize existing technology.
• Help teams evaluate new tools and adopt AI workflows across development, testing and operations.
• Take solutions from prototype to production, including architecture and deployment.
