Job summary

Aceve is seeking an AI Engineer to design, build, and deploy internal AI solutions powering our digital transformation across the group’s portfolio. You’ll sit within the AI Transformation Team, reporting to the Head of AI, and work directly with business teams to ensure adoption and impact.

This hands‑on role covers the full lifecycle of internal AI products—from scoping with stakeholders to deployment and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 2+ years building and deploying AI or software solutions.
• Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong proficiency with LLM APIs and frameworks and production integrations.
• Experience building automations or AI agents interacting with business data.
• Good communication with non‑technical stakeholders and bias for shipping.

Responsibilities

• Design and build AI agents, automations, and LLM integrations across ACEVE Group.
• Partner with business teams to turn workflows into working AI solutions.
• Iterate based on real‑world usage and feedback to ensure adoption.
• Contribute reusable components and patterns for scale.
• Evaluate new AI tools and frameworks to advance capabilities.
• Document solutions for business teams and colleagues.
• Provide guidance to the AI Champions network and run hands‑on sessions.
• Deliver in a hands‑on or remote workshop format as needed.

About The Role

As an AI Engineer at Aceve, you will design, build, and deploy the internal AI solutions that power our digital transformation across the group’s portfolio companies. You’ll sit within the AI Transformation Team, reporting to the Head of AI, and work directly with business teams to ensure the solutions you build are genuinely adopted, iterated on, and making a difference. This is a hands‑on engineering role with real commercial impact — the kind of work that shapes how an entire organisation thinks about AI.

What Will You Do

You’ll take ownership of the full lifecycle of internal AI products — from scoping with business stakeholders through to deployment and continuous improvement. You won’t just build in isolation; you’ll stay close to the teams using your solutions to make sure they stick.

• Design and build AI agents, automations, and LLM integrations that solve real operational challenges across ACEVE Group’s portfolio companies.
• Partner with business teams to understand their workflows, identify high‑impact AI opportunities, and translate them into working solutions.
• Iterate on deployed solutions based on real‑world usage and feedback, ensuring adoption and continuous improvement.
• Contribute to a shared engineering foundation — reusable components, patterns, and best practices that scale across the group.
• Evaluate and recommend new AI tools, models, and frameworks that could advance Aceve’s internal capabilities.
• Document your solutions clearly so business teams and colleagues can understand, maintain, and build on them.
• Support the AI Champions network with technical guidance and pair‑building sessions, helping colleagues across departments implement AI in their daily work.
• Run occasional hands‑on or remote workshops when deep technical expertise is needed, and gather user feedback directly across ACEVE’s multiple markets.

We Believe You Have

• 2+ years of hands‑on experience building and deploying AI or software engineering solutions in a professional environment.
• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field — or equivalent demonstrated experience.
• Strong proficiency with LLM APIs and frameworks (e.g. OpenAI, Anthropic, LangChain, LlamaIndex) and the ability to build production‑ready integrations.
• Experience building automations or AI agents that interact with real business systems and data.
• The communication skills to work effectively with non‑technical stakeholders — you can scope problems, explain trade‑offs, and manage expectations.
• A bias for shipping — you care about solutions that actually get used, not just solutions that technically work.
• Comfort working remotely and collaborating across European and Nordic time zones, with occasional travel to Aceve offices.

Bonus Points For

• Experience building AI solutions within a SaaS, scale‑up, or multi‑product environment.
• Familiarity with retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG), fine‑tuning, or AI evaluation frameworks.
• Experience running workshops, training sessions, or developer enablement activities.
