Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering or related field; relevant experience can compensate.
• Hands-on experience with data engineering technologies (e.g. Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Snowflake, SQL, Python, Spark, Power BI).
• Experience deploying or using machine learning/AI solutions in production.
• Strong understanding of cloud data solutions and modern data platforms (Azure preferred).
• Ability to translate business needs into technical data solutions.
• Curiosity about AI advancements and data-driven applications.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills; ability to share knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain robust data pipelines and architectures for analytics, ML and AI workloads.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data scientists, and developers to translate requirements into scalable data solutions.
• Contribute to project delivery, owning data and AI aspects in client implementations.
• Evaluate and integrate new tools and technologies for performance, scalability, and security.
• Document solutions and provide training to colleagues and end-users as needed.
• Promote best practices of modern data platforms within the team and with customers.
• Advise on data engineering, AI, and MLOps to optimise resource usage.
