Job summary

Sibelco Group is seeking an A/P Accountant for our Aaheim location to join the Country Servicing Business Services Team. You will maintain accounting journals and ledgers, ensuring accuracy and compliance across records, and support consolidation activities as needed.

The role emphasizes precise data entry, verification of invoices, proper coding, preparing journal entries, and generating financial reports from our ERP system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Finance or accounting or equivalent experience.
• English – proficient verbal & writing.
• Local language of the country of base and main operations – proficient verbal & writing.
• Other languages are an asset.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for verifying accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents and records
• Ensure proper coding of invoices
• Prepare journal entries
• Checking supporting entries
• Data entry into ERP systems
• Compile data and prepare a variety of financial reports.

Role Purpose:

• As member of the Country Servicing Business Services Team, this role is accountable for accurately updating and maintaining accounting journals, ledgers and other records, recording accounting information, consolidation thereof to assess accuracy and compliance
