Job summary

Sibelco is seeking an A/P Accountant to maintain accounting journals, ledgers, and records as part of the Country Servicing Business Services Team. The role focuses on accuracy, coding invoices correctly, and ensuring financial records reflect the company’s operations.

The candidate will perform journal entries, data entry into ERP systems, and generate financial reports while collaborating with multiple functions in a dynamic, sustainability-driven company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Finance or accounting or equivalent experience.
• English – proficient verbal & writing.
• Local language of the country of base and main operations – proficient verbal & writing.

Responsibilities

• Update and maintain accounting journals and ledgers.
• Record accounting information and perform consolidation checks.
• Verify invoice accuracy and proper coding of invoices.
• Prepare journal entries and supporting documents.
• Data entry into ERP systems and data accuracy checks.
• Compile data and prepare a variety of financial reports.
