Job summary

Your Personal Swim Coach in Leiden is seeking a Senior Swim Coach to inspire adults to achieve their swimming goals. You will lead high-quality lessons for adult swimmers, tailor progression plans, and help clients reach diplomas, open-water targets, or triathlons.

Qualifications

• Senior level experience in swimming instruction and coaching.

Are you a passionate swim coach, competitive swimmer, or water sports professional with strong coaching and communication skills?

At Your Personal Swim Coach, we help adults from around the world build confidence in the water, earn their swimming diploma and achieve ambitious goals, from their first open water-swim to their first triathlon.

Due to our continued growth, we are looking for an enthusiastic Senior Swim Coach to join our Leiden team.

What You'll Do

• Deliver high-quality swimming lessons and coaching sessions to adult swimmers of all levels.
• Assess individual abilities and create tailored progression plans.
• Guide swimmers towards their diploma, fitness goals, open-water swimming, or improve their swimming skills.
• Create a safe, positive and motivating learning environment.
• Contribute to the growth and development of our coaching team.

What we are looking for:

Required:

• Senior level experience in swimming instruction, coaching, competitive swimming, triathlon or other water sports.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and coaching skills.
• Good command of English — essential, as most lessons are taught in English.
• Available to work at least 2 weekday evenings per week, including Sundays.
• Passionate about helping adults achieve their goals.
• Eligible to work in the Netherlands and possess a valid BSN.

Preferred:

• Swimming instructor certification or equivalent coaching qualification.
• Experience coaching adults
• Background in competitive swimming, triathlon, lifesaving
