Job summary

VERSADO Personeelsdiensten is seeking a work preparer / draftsman to steer project preparation, order materials on time, and monitor progress in collaboration with production planning and clients. You will draw structural details in AutoCAD, test products against specifications, and coordinate ERP processes.

A relevant MBO/HBO education with experience, plus BIM familiarity, is preferred. The role requires resilience under pressure, accuracy, and a sustainability mindset within a family business

Qualifications

• Completed at least a vocational education (MBO) in construction/civil engineering or HBO with relevant work experience.
• Experience with BIM is a plus.
• AutoCAD and Microsoft Office skills are essential.
• Resilience under pressure and ability to stay organized.

Responsibilities

• Prepare projects and ensure materials are ordered on time.
• Monitor project progress by communicating with production planning and clients.
• Develop structural connection details and record dimensions in AutoCAD.
• Test products against application requirements.
• Coordinate elaboration and processing in the ERP system.
• Determine preliminary delivery times and transfer orders to production planning.
• Communicate timely with production planning and clients to ensure proper project monitoring.

Our client supplies a complete range of facade elements made of plastic and aluminum for both renovation and new construction projects in residential and utility construction throughout the Netherlands. In addition to producing these elements, they also install them.

As a work preparer / draftsman, you play a crucial role within the team. You are responsible for the proper preparation of a project and ensure that working materials are ordered on time. This can get quite hectic at times, but even then you keep a cool head and work accurately. You also closely monitor the progress of the project by communicating with production planning and clients.

You work out structural connection details and record the dimensions in AutoCAD.

Testing products against application requirements.

You coordinate the elaboration and processing in the ERP system.

You ensure that materials are ordered and determine preliminary delivery times.

Transferring finalized orders to production planning.

You communicate timely and accurately with production planning and clients to ensure proper project monitoring.

You have completed at least a vocational education (MBO) in construction/civil engineering or have a higher professional education (HBO) level with relevant work experience.

AutoCAD and Microsoft Office hold no secrets for you. Experience with BIM is a plus.

You are resilient to stress and can maintain a clear overview and perform well under pressure.

You work accurately and have an eye for sustainability.
