Job summary

VERSADO Personeelsdiensten is seeking a Head Work Planner in Venlo to lead a team of work planners and actively contribute to work preparation. You will translate plans into actionable steps, oversee daily priorities, and ensure timely delivery of orders.

Qualifications

• HBO or higher professional education in construction engineering or a comparable field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience as a work planner in construction or engineering.
• Strong knowledge of IT systems and methods, including WCM.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop a high performing team.
• Able to translate project plans into actionable steps and manage daily priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of work planners and actively participate in work preparation.
• Organize work preparation so assignments are completed by day end and set clear priorities.
• Coordinate and process orders in the ERP system.
• Determine correct profiling and composition, and work out special detailing.
• Test products against application requirements and order materials to avoid shortages.
• Monitor progress of work preparation planning and hand over finalized orders to production planning.
• Serve as the point of contact for the work preparation team and drive performance.

For conservatories, sun blinds, doors and glass walls, our client is also your go-to for the best advice all the way through to installation.

To ensure that the window frames are of the highest quality, our client is looking for a head work planner. In this role, you lead a team of work planners while also actively participating in the work preparation yourself. Leading by example definitely applies to you. You play a crucial role in translating project plans into actionable steps, keeping an overview while also keeping a sharp eye on the details. The day-to-day supervision of your team is in your hands, and you know how to motivate each and every one of them. With your planning skills, you organize the work preparation so that all assignments are completed by the end of the day, and you know how to set priorities.

You coordinate and process orders in the ERP system.

You determine the correct profiling, composition and work out special detailing.

Testing products against application requirements.

You order materials so that you never run out and determine the provisional delivery times.

You monitor the progress of the work preparation planning.

You hand over finalized orders to production planning.

You lead your team based on output and performance.

You have a completed higher professional education (HBO) degree in construction engineering or a comparable field of study.

You bring at least 5 years of relevant work experience as a work planner in construction or engineering.

You have knowledge of relevant IT systems and methods, including WCM.
