In this role, you will be involved in the fabrication and assembly of high‑quality industrial equipment and steel constructions. Your daily work will include welding components based on technical drawings, preparing materials, and ensuring high‑quality welds that meet industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

Welding & Fabrication

• Perform MIG/MAG and/or TIG welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and other materials.
• Weld structural components, frames, pipes, and equipment parts according to specifications.
• Ensure strong, clean, and visually acceptable welds.

Reading and Interpreting Technical Drawings

• Read and understand technical drawings, welding symbols, and fabrication plans.
• Accurately follow dimensions, tolerances, and welding instructions.

Material Preparation & Assembly

• Inspect welds for quality, strength, and compliance with industry standards.
• Identify defects and carry out corrective actions if required.

Quality Control

• Inspect finished parts to ensure dimensional accuracy, weld‑prep correctness, and compliance with petro‑chemical industry standards.
• Report non‑conformities and participate in corrective actions.

Safety & Compliance

• Follow all workshop safety procedures and comply with Dutch and industry‑specific HSE guidelines.
• Use appropriate PPE and maintain a clean and organized work area.

What You Need

• Proven experience as a welder (MIG/MAG and/or TIG). We also accept those who want to learn.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Valid VCA‑Basic Certificate (required).
• Good communication skills in English, Dutch, or German.
• Strong sense of responsibility, precision, and teamwork.
• Driving license – benefit, but we offer housing in Weert, so a bicycle can be provided for travel to work.
