Job summary

Priva seeks a CAD Engineer to design and maintain 3D models and 2D drawings for irrigation, dosing, and sensor products used across Europe. You translate engineering concepts into precise, manufacturable designs and work closely with mechanical engineers, R&D, and production teams.

Based in the Netherlands near De Lier, you will develop and maintain CAD data in PDM/PLM systems, participate in ECO/ECN changes, and contribute to design-for-manufacturability in a collaborative, innovation-driven

Qualifications

2 years proven experience with 3D CAD software (Autodesk Inventor is a strong advantage).
Background in mechanical engineering or related field preferred.
Experience with PDM/PLM systems (Autodesk Vault, Windchill) is beneficial.

Responsibilities

Create and maintain 3D models and 2D production drawings using CAD software (Autodesk Inventor or equivalent).
Develop component and assembly drawings that meet manufacturing and quality standards.
Collaborate with R&D, mechanical engineering, and supply chain teams during new product development.
Support design changes and modifications throughout the product lifecycle (ECO/ECN process).
Maintain and organize the product data structure in our PDM/PLM environment.
Contribute to design reviews and ensure compliance with relevant standards and norms.
Work with suppliers and internal production on design-for-manufacturability (DFM) considerations.
