Job summary

GLS in Drachten zoekt een nauwkeurige magazijnmedewerker die bijdraagt aan soepele logistiek. Je werkt met een elektrische palletwagen, scant en sorteert pakketten op postcode en helpt chauffeurs bij het laden van voertuigen.

Je werkt in een gestructureerde, teamgerichte omgeving en krijgt mogelijkheden om te leren en door te groeien. Het aanbod betreft een tijdelijk contract met uitzicht op vast, parttime uren van 12–24 per week en een marktconform uurloon.

Qualifications

• Gelijke kennis van Nederlandse communicatie.
• Beschikbaarheid in ochtend en/of avonddienst.
• Nauwkeurig werken en overzicht bewaren.
• Waardeert teamwork en samenwerking.
• EPT-ervaring is een plus, maar geen vereiste.

Responsibilities

• Lossen van trailers met een elektrische pompwagen (EPT).
• Scannen en sorteren van pakketten op postcode.
• Controleren van zendingen op juistheid voor verder transport.
• Assisteren van chauffeurs bij het laden van hun voertuigen.
• Onderhouden van een veilige, schone en georganiseerde werkplek.

Wat je gaat doen

As a warehouse employee at GLS in Drachten, you play a vital role in ensuring smooth logistics operations. Your work directly impacts the timely and accurate processing of packages, enabling drivers to start their routes without delays. In a structured and team-oriented environment, you’ll use modern tools to make your tasks efficient and less physically demanding. This is your chance to kickstart your day productively and still have time left for other activities.

Your responsibilities include:

• Unloading trailers using an electric pallet truck (EPT).
• Scanning and sorting packages based on postal codes.
• Inspecting shipments to ensure accuracy before further transportation.
• Assisting drivers with loading their vehicles.
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized workspace.
