Job summary

DSV Amsterdam zoekt een Warehouse Team Leader voor de dagdienst. Je werkt samen met een collega teamlead om het magazijn operationeel te houden, coacht je team en stuurt op kwaliteit, productiviteit en continue verbetering.

Je bewaakt inbound/outbound, stuurt KPI's aan en werkt met het WMS CargoWRITE. Vereist is minimaal 2 jaar leidinggevende ervaring in een magazijn en zeer goede Engelse communicatie, bij voorkeur ook Nederlands.

Qualifications

• Minimaal 2 jaar ervaring als magazijnteamleider of vergelijkbare rol.
• Sterke communicatieve vaardigheden in het Engels, bij voorkeur ook in het Nederlands.
• Resultaatgerichte communicatie, coaching en teammotivatie.

Responsibilities

• Coördineren van dagelijkse operationele activiteiten tijdens de ochtendbriefing.
• Houd klantenservice op de hoogte van prestaties en prioriteiten.
• Effectief monitoren van productiviteit en oplossen van operationele issues.
• Draagt bij aan projecten die logistieke processen verbeteren.
• Toezicht houden op KPI's en zorgen voor naleving van doelstellingen.
• Werken met de WMS CargoWRITE en uitvoeren van personeelsadministratieve taken.

How you do this? You understand the dynamics of a warehouse and know what it takes to help a team succeed. As a team lead, you oversee both inbound and outbound operations, monitor daily performance, and coach your team to get the best out of every individual. You keep a strong focus on safety, quality, and productivity, ensuring every order is completed accurately and shipped on time. You achieve this by:

• coordinating daily operational activities during the morning Blue Box team briefing;
• keeping our Customer Service team informed about the previous day's performance and the day's operational priorities;
• monitoring productivity across the warehouse and proactively identifying and resolving operational issues;
• contributing to projects that continuously improve our logistics processes and ways of working;
• actively monitoring KPIs and ensuring operational targets are achieved;
• working with our WMS (CargoWRITE) and handling a variety of people-related administrative tasks.

You bring

• an energetic work attitude and a fresh perspective, you are not afraid to address challenges head-on and are driven by results;
• at least 2 years of experience as a warehouse team lead or similar role, with a strong sense of responsibility;
• strong command of English, and preferably Dutch;
• tactic social skills and inspiration, you can manage teams towards targets and have a positive mindset.

• 24 vacation days, 4 additional leave days, and 8% holiday pay;
