Job summary

FORTNA is seeking a Software Solution Architect for Warehouse Software Solutions. You will serve as the functional and operational SME across design, testing, commissioning and go-live, ensuring software performs in real warehouse environments and supports critical workflows.

You will collaborate with customers, operations teams, software developers and project stakeholders to translate warehouse processes into software behaviour and ensure solutions meet operational requirements.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience with warehouse software solutions or supply chain execution systems.
Strong understanding of warehouse workflows and distribution centre processes.
Proven ability to translate operational requirements into software requirements and tests.
Experience with testing, commissioning or go-live activities for large‑scale warehouse implementations.
Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Act as the primary software SME during customer workshops, testing, commissioning and go-live activities.
Collaborate with customers and operations teams to understand warehouse requirements and ensure software supports workflows.
Translate operational processes into software requirements, workflows and testing scenarios.
Guide QA, integration testing and commissioning teams on functionality and validation criteria.
Lead discussions to align software capabilities with design and customer expectations.
Support end-to-end solution validation including integrations with WMS, WCS, WES and automation systems.
