Job summary

DHL Express Den Hoorn zoekt een Warehouse Operator voor het logistieke team. Je leert werken met logistieke processen, veiligheidsvoorschriften en een snel tempo, terwijl je bijdraagt aan een betrouwbare dienstverlening in Den Hoorn.

Het werk is geschikt naast studie of een andere baan. Je ontvangt een startsalaris van €15,30 per uur, wekelijkse uitbetaling via het uitzendbureau, 7–10 uur per week en reiskostenvergoeding, met aanvullende vakantietoelagen.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading: unload parcels from vans/trucks onto the correct conveyor belt or roll container, ensuring smooth flow.
• Building and unloading containers: load containers per guidelines for shipment; unload upon arrival, ensuring safe transport.
• Sorting parcels: sort by postcode/destination, check labels, ensure correct routing.
• Following safety procedures: follow safety instructions, use equipment correctly, keep a safe workspace.
• Teamwork: coordinate with colleagues to maintain efficient pace during the evening shift.

Your responsibilities as a Warehouse Operator

• Loading and unloading

  You unload parcels from vans and trucks and place them on the correct conveyor belt or roll container, ensuring the flow of goods continues without delays.

• Building and unloading containers

  You load containers according to established guidelines and prepare them for shipment, or unload them upon arrival, ensuring all goods are transported safely and without damage.

• Sorting parcels

  You sort parcels by postcode and destination, check shipping labels, and ensure every shipment is routed correctly.

• Following safety procedures

  You work according to clear safety instructions, use equipment correctly, and help maintain a clean and organized workplace to prevent accidents.

• Teamwork

  You coordinate your work with your colleagues, assist where needed, and work together to maintain an efficient and enjoyable pace during the evening shift.

Wat we je bieden

• Hourly wage starting at €15.30, depending on experience.
• Weekly salary payments through the employment agency.
• Flexible working hours: 7 to 10 hours per week.
• 8% holiday allowance plus 10% paid vacation hours accrual.
• Travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometre.
• 6.24% flexible budget on top of your worked hours.

Wat we van je vragen

You enjoy working in a dynamic, international warehouse environment and like contributing to a safe and efficient logistics operation.

• You are available to work at least three mornings per week, including Monday and Friday.
• You are available throughout the entire summer holiday period with no planned vacations.
• You are physically fit and able to lift parcels weighing up to 20 kg.
• You have a strong awareness of workplace safety and carefully follow work instructions.
• You have a good command of Dutch or English.
