Job summary

DACHSER Netherlands B.V. - Waddinxveen is seeking a Warehouse Operator to load, unload and dispatch shipments in our Cross Dock Warehouse. You will handle an Electric Pallet Truck and a handheld scanner in a modern logistics setting.

You will work full-time (40 hours/week) in rotating shifts (morning, afternoon/evening, night). Prior logistics experience is welcome but not required; training and certification opportunities are offered.

• Sorting and placing shipments in the correct warehouse location
• Checking goods for damage and correct packaging

Job description

Join DACHSER Netherlands as a Warehouse Operator in our Cross Dock Warehouse in Waddinxveen (Logistics Centre Rotterdam). Together with your team, you ensure that shipments are loaded, unloaded and dispatched safely and on time. You will work with an Electric Pallet Truck (EPT) and a handheld scanner in a modern international logistics environment.

What will you do?

As a Warehouse Operator, also known as a Warehouse Worker or Logistics Warehouse Employee, you play an important role in our daily logistics operation.

Your responsibilities include:

• Loading and unloading trailers and swap bodies
• Moving pallets using an Electric Pallet Truck (EPT)
• Scanning goods with a handheld scanner
• Sorting and placing shipments in the correct warehouse location
• Checking goods for damage and correct packaging
• Reporting damage or irregularities to your Team Leader

Working hours

This is a full-time position (40 hours per week).

You can work in different shifts:

• Morning shift
• Afternoon / evening shift
• Night shift

Together we will determine which shift best suits your availability.
