Job summary

AHEAD is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor in Breda for a player-coach role that blends leadership with hands-on warehouse operations. You will oversee daily picking, packing, and stock control while guiding a diverse team in a compliant, efficient environment.

Own inbound and outbound shipments, ensure Dutch safety and customs compliance, and drive continuous process improvements. This on-site, full-time role runs Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:30 pm, with role-specific flexibility as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support warehouse staff to achieve operational targets.
• Perform hands-on warehouse tasks, including picking, packing, and stock control, when required.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring compliance with Dutch customs and international trade regulations.
• Communicate with vendors regarding issues, development, and rate negotiations as needed.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization.
• Monitor schedules, resources, and workflows to meet business objectives.
• Resolve operational issues promptly and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes.
• Ensure compliance with Dutch occupational health and safety requirements, company procedures and relevant employment legislation.
• Support and reinforce safe systems of work and report hazards, incidents, and near misses in line with company procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation for inventory and shipping activities.
• Foster a positive, inclusive work environment and coach team members for development.
