Job summary

GLS in Den Bosch zoekt een Warehouse Employee om samen met collega’s verantwoordelijk te zijn voor het snelle en correcte verwerken van binnenkomende pakketten. Je werkt in een actief logistiek proces en zorgt dat pakketten zorgvuldig worden behandeld.

De taken variëren van laden en lossen, sorteren op bestemming en verplaatsen door het magazijn tot het waarborgen van veiligheid en orde. Het werk is fysiek en draait om teamwork met een duidelijk roosterschema.

Responsibilities

Wat je gaat doen

As a Warehouse Employee at GLS in Den Bosch, you work at the heart of the logistics process. Together with your colleagues, you make sure incoming parcels are processed quickly and correctly.

Your tasks include:

• Loading and unloading parcels.


• Sorting parcels by destination.


• Moving parcels throughout the warehouse.


• Making sure parcels end up in the correct location.


• Working together with your colleagues to keep the process running smoothly.


• Keeping your workplace safe and organised.

This is an active and physical warehouse job. Parcels can weigh up to 23 kg, so you will be moving throughout your shift.

You work from Monday to Friday in alternating shifts:

• One week from 15:00 until 00:00.


• The following week from 00:00 until the end of production.

This gives you a clear work schedule, with your weekends free.

Wat we je bieden

As a Warehouse Employee at GLS, you can expect:

• A gross hourly wage between €14.99 and €16.68.


• 32 to 40 working hours per week.


• Work from Monday to Friday.


• A temporary contract with the possibility of a permanent position.


• Travel allowance of at least €0.10 per kilometre.


• 8% holiday allowance.

At Start People, we apply the principle of equal remuneration. Your employment conditions are therefore aligned with those of employees who work directly for the client. In addition to your hourly wage, this may include holiday entitlement, shift allowances, ADV compensation and other salary components.

You do not need previous logistics or warehouse experience. Your motivation and reliability are more important.

We ask that you:

• Are at least 18 years old.


• Speak English and/or Dutch.


• Are physically able to lift parcels weighing up to 23 kg.


• Are available for both afternoon and night shifts.


• Are reliable and enjoy working as part of a team.

Over het bedrijf

At GLS in Den Bosch, large numbers of parcels are processed every day. As a Warehouse Employee, you play an important role in making sure these parcels are sorted correctly and continue to their destination on time.

You will work in an active logistics environment where teamwork is important. Never worked in a warehouse or distribution centre before? No problem. You will receive guidance when you start and have the opportunity to learn the job.
