Van Asch Horeca invites you to join the Suikerkist service team on the Havermarkt in Breda as a waiter/waitress. You’ll greet guests warmly, coordinate with the kitchen and ensure every guest leaves with a smile.

Experience is nice but not required; we value enthusiasm and proactivity. The role offers flexible shifts, tips and staff discounts, free courses and training, and great team events within our 200+ colleagues across eight cafés.

Qualifications

• No formal education or work experience required.
• Experience in hospitality desirable but not required.
• Strong communication and guest interaction skills.

Do you thrive on positive energy? Join the service team at the Havermarkt Hotspot! Would you love to parade around the Havermarkt with a tray full of food and drinks? At Suikerkist, the most famous terrace in Breda, we are looking for an energetic new Waiter/Waitress to join our team!

Suikerkist is located on the Havermarkt and has the most hours of sunshine, making it perhaps the most famous terrace in Breda. The business has a unique and relaxed character that fits perfectly with the times. Together with your future colleagues, you will form a young, ambitious and friendly team with a passion for good food and drink. We are known for our creative menu, relaxed atmosphere and combination of quality and uniqueness.

You will be working in the very nice and friendly team at Suikerkist. This team is part of a larger family: Van Asch Horeca. As part of Van Asch Horeca, you will be working with 200+ colleagues spread across 8 different cafés/restaurants, so it’s a large and friendly family with plenty of room for development and career opportunities.

Your role

As a key member of the team at Suikerkist, you work alongside our top staff to create the ultimate guest experience. Your mission is clear: from the warm welcome upon arrival to the moment the guest leaves with a smile, everyone goes home completely satisfied.

You are the vital link between the kitchen and the guest. Your tasks are diverse and rewarding: from preparing perfect, fresh coffees and visually stunning gin and tonics, to serving our delicious lunch and dinner dishes. Crucially, you are the expert who confidently recommends a special beer or wine to accompany our tasty snacks. In short, you deliver flawless service at any time of the day!

Passion over Experience: As long as you bring enthusiasm and proactivity, we will ensure you acquire all the knowledge you need. Experience in the hospitality industry is desirable, but not a must. We are happy to teach you the skills needed to be a successful Waiter/Waitress in Breda!
