Job summary

Swisscom AG in Rotterdam is looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to manage and improve their SIP Voice Platform. Your role will focus on ensuring high availability and performance of voice services while driving automation in a collaborative environment.

Your tasks include operating SIP-based systems, troubleshooting issues, and actively participating in on-call rotations. This position offers a dynamic work environment in the World Trade Center, with numerous benefits promoting work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Experience working in agile setups.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools and ITSM / ITIL.
• German language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate and improve SIP-based telecommunication backend systems.
• Ensure high availability, stability, and performance of voice services.
• Monitor systems proactively and prevent incidents.

Skills

Experience operating SIP/VoIP platforms

Strong knowledge of SIP, VoIP protocols

Solid networking fundamentals

Experience with Linux systems

Good English skills (C1)

Tools

Automation & DevOps tools (Jenkins, Git, Terraform, Ansible)

Scripting skills (Python, Bash)

Experience with Kubernetes / cloud environments
