Job summary

Swisscom in Rotterdam invites skilled IT professionals to join a dynamic DevOps Center focused on building high-quality software for the Swiss market. You will work in an agile environment, shaping the design and architecture of future-proof, high-performance solutions such as FTTH network construction and data exchange with external partners.

The role emphasizes collaboration across teams, secure development practices, and the deployment of features within an agile DevOps setup.

Qualifications

• Experience in full-stack Java/Frontend development.
• Hands-on with Spring Boot, Angular and REST APIs.
• Knowledge of MariaDB databases.
• CI/CD pipelines experience (GitLab, Maven).
• Strong written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Take over ongoing development work in FACE for digitalization of Swisscom's network construction.
• Improve team collaboration and deliver secure, high-quality applications.
• Ensure proper development and deployment of individual features.
• Contribute to security architecture and data security.
• Coordinate with business, partner systems and stakeholders.
• Estimate implementation effort.
• Design, develop, test and deploy solutions.
• Collaborate in an agile DevOps team.

In this exciting and dynamic environment, you will develop customized use cases to enhance the efficiency and functionality of our systems. Together with our team of experts, you will contribute to the design and architecture of future‑proof, high‑performance solutions — covering areas such as FTTH network construction and automated data exchange with external partners.

Allowances

• Salary range: 60,000 to 65,000 euros gross per year including holiday allowance

Leaves policy

Contract terms

• To begin with you will receive a fixed term contract (one year), after 6 months of your employment with us, after a feedback meeting with the team, there is a possibility of extending the contract
