Het Baken Almere zoekt een leraar voor internationaal onderwijs om studenten te inspireren hun volle potentieel te bereiken en bij te dragen aan een betere, vredigere wereld door academische uitmuntendheid, intercultureel bewustzijn en wederzijds respect.

Wij vragen een Bachelor- of Mastergraad in het gevraagde vakgebied, een International Teaching Qualification, uitstekende Engelse taalbeheersing en bij voorkeur IB-MYP-ervaring.

Qualifications

• Bachelor- of Mastergraad in het gevraagde vakgebied.
• Internationale onderwijs-/certificering vereist volgens het Nederlandse systeem;
• Uitstekende beheersing van de Engelse taal;
• Ervaring met IB-MYP is gewenst maar niet verplicht.

Omschrijving organisatie

Het Baken Almere is een stichting voor interconfessioneel onderwijs, waartoe onze vijf scholen behoren:

• Stad College Vakcollege
• Poort – school voor havo en mavo
• Park Lyceum mavo+, havo en atheneum
• Trinitas Gymnasium
• International School Almere In de maatschappij wordt een discussie gevoerd over de rol van het onderwijs. De afgelopen jaren is er een brede maatschappelijke discussie op gang gekomen over de rol van het onderwijs. De landelijke vraag is: leiden wij alleen op voor een diploma of speelt het onderwijs een rol in de bredere ontwikkeling van de jongeren. Voor Het Baken Almere is dit geen vraag. Wij zijn een interconfessionele onderwijsorganisatie en wij zijn van mening dat een brede ontwikkeling van jonge mensen de kernopdracht is van ons onderwijs.

Wat wij vragen

Requirements And Profile

• Completed a Bachelor or a Master’s degree in the requested subject;
• (International) Teaching Qualification / Certificate that qualifies for accreditation according to the Dutch educational system;
• Excellent command of the English language;
• Experience of teaching in IB-MYP will be preferred but not necessary;
• Only applicants who have a residence/work permit in the Netherlands will be considered.
