Job summary

Iceberg Interactive is seeking a creative, game-loving intern for a game marketing internship starting September 2026. You will join the Marketing team to promote our indie titles by creating engaging assets, writing captivating copy, and connecting with online communities.

You’ll produce high-quality content, reach out to press and influencers, test games, and collaborate with the production team to understand the indie development and marketing process.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled at a Dutch college or university in a relevant field (communication, marketing, content).
• Proficient in English (written & spoken).
• Legally entitled to study/work in the Netherlands.

Responsibilities

• Plan, ideate, create, and schedule social media content (videos, images, etc.).
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends.
• Support PR efforts with writing and outreach.
• Collaborate with independent game developers.
• Manage lively and passionate communities.

Iceberg Interactive seeks a creative, game-loving second or third-year student for a game marketing internship!

As part of a small & dynamic publisher, you’ll work closely with the Marketing team to promote our broad line of indie games by creating engaging assets, writing captivating copy, and connecting with our communities online.

Responsibilities include producing high-quality content, reaching out to press & influencers, and much, much more. We value & welcome fresh ideas, and we’re excited to find your strengths and build on them! You’ll also assist in testing games and collaborating with the production team to understand the whole process of indie game development and marketing.

This role is ideal for creatives who want to work in a fast-paced environment, leave a lasting mark on a variety of Marketing strategies, or just… love yapping about games!

What we’re looking for:

• You are enrolled at a Dutch college or university (HBO or WO) in a course relevant to this internship (communication, marketing, content, etc.). Please note that we don’t do graduation internships.
• You are proficient in English (written & spoken).
• You are legally entitled to study/work in the Netherlands.
• You have a passion for video games and curiosity about the industry behind them.
• You are creative at heart and love making things.
• You are proactive and aren’t afraid to pitch your ideas.
• You can travel to Haarlem on a sustainable, daily basis.We want our interns to be able to come to the office during the internship; we don’t offer a remote internship.
• You have experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Premiere, InDesign) or similar software.

This internship is for at least 5 months and starts in September 2026.
