Job summary

Wenneker.Amsterdam is seeking a seasoned Video Editor to craft compelling offline edits and oversee the online process. You will work closely with directors and producers to translate concepts into engaging narratives for diverse commercial campaigns.

With 5+ years in offline editing, you’ll own your part of the project, deliver on tight schedules, and contribute to workflow optimization. Proficiency in Premiere, After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve is valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience as an offline editor for multi-asset projects.
• Ability to make bold editing choices to enhance the final product.
• Solid understanding of post‑production workflows and social media specs.

What you’ll be doing

As our Video Editor, you’ll bring stories to life in an offline/online workflow. Working closely with the director or producer, you’ll transform concepts and briefings into compelling narratives that captivate audiences. Your main focus will be on offline edits but you will be the gatekeeper during the online process of your projects.

What you bring to the table

You have a sharp creative eye and a critical mindset on your own offline edits with at least 5‑years of experience in an environment where projects were created with multi‑asset deliverables for commercial clients.

You’re not afraid to make bold choices in the edit to enhance the final product. You take ownership of your part of the project, ensuring timely and precise delivery. Collaboration is key, so you actively contribute until the very last frame, offering feedback and support where needed. Your technical expertise and storytelling skills make you an essential part of our productions.

You have solid experience as an offline editor and are comfortable working with Premiere. Also a proper understanding of the online process with tools like After Effects and Davinci Resolve would be useful. If not, we’re happy to get you up to speed. You understand the ins and outs of Post Production workflows and think beyond traditional formats—you know all the social media specs by heart. Your showreel showcases your skill as a skilled offline editor and extra bonus points if there’s also some online work. Just like us, you’re always looking for ways to optimize workflows. You’re creative, resourceful, detail‑oriented, and thrive under pressure. Flexibility is key, as production schedules can sometimes stretch beyond the usual hours.
