An operational and process buyer for Mango

• Involved in the entire value chain from arrival to the stores.
• Operational purchasing on the spot market.
• Constantly aware of developments and market situation.
• Maintaining and approaching interesting customers.
• Order processing via the ERP system and data management.
• Supporting and coordinating with colleagues domestically and internationally.
• Liquidation of spot market positions to suppliers.
• Responsible for the optimal flow of mangoes through the organization.
• Reporting to the Teamleader Mango.

Profile & Requirements

• MBO+ / HBO working and thinking level.
• Experience in buying fruits preferred.
• Knowledge of exotics, mango / avocado required.
• Experience with QC / QA or ripening of fruits is a plus.
• Familiar with the dynamics of the fresh sector.
• Proficient in English; Dutch or other languages are advantageous.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office.
