UN Global Compact Network Netherlands is offering a Marketing & Communications Intern position in The Hague. You will support the Participant Engagement and Communications teams with content, campaign ideas, and data-driven improvements.

You’ll create posts for LinkedIn and Instagram, help tailor branding, and craft messages for different audiences while ensuring bilingual English and Dutch communication. The internship lasts 4 to 6 months, 3–4 days per week, with a monthly allowance of €620 and

What will you do?

As a marketing & communications intern , you will work closely with both our Participant Engagement team and our Communications Officer. Your tasks will include:

• Analyzing data and contributing to the optimization of our participant journey. You will focus on the companies in our network to strengthen the overall customer experience and engagement with our organization.
• Contributing ideas on how to use creative storytelling to enhance our marketing materials. You will dive into our current branding and storytelling and tailor marketing materials for different target groups.
• Writing, creating, and publishing content for our website and social media channels (LinkedIn, Instagram).

Who are you?

• You are enrolled in a relevant mbo, hbo, or university program for the full duration of the internship. Relevant fields include marketing, communication studies, content creation, creative business, or similar studies.
• You are a team player with strong communication skills, both in Dutch and English.
• You are creative, visually strong, curious, and solution-oriented.
• You know how to reach and activate target audiences through social media and other relevant channels: creating posts, boosting organic reach, setting up and researching advertisements.
• You have experience with content creation and visual design using tools such as Adobe, Canva, or similar.
• Preferred: You have experience with various online marketing disciplines, including email marketing, social ads, and customer journeys.
