Job description

Overview

Join to apply for the UX/UI Designer role at Greener Power Solutions.

Are you a skilled UX/UI designer, with a passion for turning complex technology into simple, intuitive designs that support a sustainable future?

Design that works for people and the planet. At Greener, we believe great design is more than just looks – it’s about making life easier for our users while helping the world switch to clean energy. Our UX/UI Designer will be part of a small but driven product team. We work closely across design, development, and product to create digital tools that make working with our mobile batteries a breeze.

Your role

You’ll be our go-to person for making sure our digital products look and feel just right. You might create reusable design components for mobile, tablet, and desktop, prototype new feature ideas and test them with users, and move projects forward by asking questions and suggesting improvements. You’ll be deeply involved in product discovery to ensure every solution has a clear purpose, balancing technical possibilities with how things will be implemented, guiding the design through ideation, wireframing, prototyping, implementation, and feedback. It’s your mission to design experiences that are clear, intuitive, and genuinely useful — and to make sure our users love every click, tap, or swipe.

What You’ll Do

  • Design user flows using conversational and mobile-first principles, for mobile, tablet, and desktop.
  • Build and maintain a reusable UI library (design system) to ensure consistency and speed up development.
  • Create components that work across devices and are easy for frontend to implement.
  • Run user testing, make prototypes, and validate designs with real feedback.
  • Work with product and engineering from the start to shape features that solve real problems.
  • Guide implementation of your designs, balancing user needs with technical limits.
  • Own features from research to launch; define, design, test, ship, learn.
  • Set design standards for accessibility, handoff, and collaboration in the team.

Why go Greener?

  • Exciting and important work in a rapidly growing scale-up;
  • An inspiring work environment with a committed, friendly team and an open and honest work culture;
  • 30 vacation days per year based on a full-time employment;
  • Free vegetarian lunch at the office;
  • Pension (8%, no personal contribution, partner pension);
  • Travel allowance;
  • A laptop of your choice (Apple or Microsoft);
  • Budget for setting up your home workspace;

Who are you?

  • A true Greener – you want to make the world a bit better, you question the status quo, and you're always looking for ways to innovate and improve
  • 4–6 years of experience in UX/UI design, with ownership of end-to-end design work
  • Strong UI design skills, especially for mobile-first, touch, and responsive interfaces
  • Experience building and maintaining a UI library or design system that’s actually used in production
  • Comfortable running user research, creating wireframes, prototyping, and testing ideas quickly
  • Able to work independently as the only designer on the team, while collaborating closely with engineers; explaining design choices and adjusting based on feedback
  • Skilled in tools like Figma, Miro, Sketch, and Storybook; experience in front-end is a nice bonus.
