Job summary

A growing technology company is seeking an Underwater Drone Operator to inspect ships using advanced drones across various seaports. The role includes maintaining drones and conducting thorough inspections. Candidates should have vocational education and be proficient in Dutch and English. Qualifications

Do you want to inspect ships in various seaports using our Fleet Inspector drones? Would you like to be part of a fast-growing organization with international ambitions? And are you eager to carry out maintenance on underwater drones? Then read our vacancy for Underwater Drone Operator!

As an Underwater Drone Operator, you will operate and maintain our Fleet Inspector drones, which are specially developed for inspecting the hulls of seagoing vessels. You will work independently in different seaports in the Netherlands, Germany, and Belgium, taking full responsibility for the entire inspection process. In addition to carrying out inspections on some of the world’s largest ships, you will also ensure the proper maintenance of the drones and contribute to the construction of new Fleet Inspector drones.

Your Responsibilities

• Independently carrying out ship inspections;
• Preparing and performing maintenance work on inspection drones, both scheduled and unscheduled;
• Implementing improvements to installations and processes;
• Assisting in the construction of new Fleet Inspector drones.

Requirements

• Minimum of a vocational education diploma (MBO level 3 or equivalent);
• Affinity with technology and/or drones;
• Good command of both Dutch and English, spoken and written;
• Flexibility and willingness to work occasionally in the evenings and on weekends (which is compensated with a system allowance and additional days off);
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
