Job summary

Ranpak is seeking a UK-based, home‑based Field Service Engineer to install, service and maintain paper‑based packaging machines across the country. You’ll travel from home to customer sites, plan visits and coordinate with European teams, acting as the technical contact in the UK.

You’ll diagnose and repair equipment, train operators, and support sales with technical expertise, while maintaining strong customer relationships and ensuring minimal downtime.

Qualifications

• Technical background in mechanical/electrical fields and hands-on experience with machinery.
• Ability to diagnose issues, perform maintenance, and modify equipment as needed.
• Strong, clear communication with customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, service and maintain Ranpak machines and integrations at customer sites.
• Diagnose technical issues and minimise downtime through preventive maintenance.
• Carry out repairs and technical modifications where required.
• Train customer operators and provide practical technical guidance.
• Support distributors and Sales with technical expertise as needed.
• Manage service visits and plan priorities across your customer base.
• Record activities in SAP and share feedback with internal teams.
• Act as Ranpak’s technical point of contact in the UK and build client relationships.
