Job summary

Booking Holdings BV’s treasury team seeks a Treasury Risk Specialist to lead risk identification, quantification, and reporting across credit, counterparty, and liquidity risk. You will work with stakeholders to deliver end-to-end risk management solutions and drive process improvements, leveraging advanced analytics.

You will analyze financial data, develop dashboards, and support governance through the IRP process while collaborating with finance, legal, product, and external partners.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years experience in Finance, Treasury or credit risk management.
• Bachelor or Masters’ degree in Finance, Statistics, Economics or Econometrics.
• Expertise in credit and counterparty risk management techniques.
• Knowledge of credit risk models and risk monitoring processes.
• Ability to work autonomously on reporting and risk controls.
• Knowledge of FX, liquidity and investment risk.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management in English.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality credit and counterparty risk assessments and reports for senior management and committees; provide risk-based recommendations.
• Perform ad hoc and cyclical credit and financial analysis across counterparty portfolios.
• Monitor market developments for Strategic & Fintech Partners and Trip providers.
• Maintain Strategic Partner Database with risk metrics and exposures.
• Map end-to-end fund flows and assess treasury risks; collaborate with SMEs for coordinated recommendations.
• Assess new products from credit and liquidity risk perspective; quantify exposures and mitigation options.
• Develop relationships with Finance, Legal, Tax and Product teams.
• Partner with data teams to develop dashboards and perform SQL queries for decision-making.
• Automate reporting processes to monitor risk exposures using tools like S&P Capital IQ, Bloomberg, SAP S/4, Tableau.
