Job summary

STX Group is seeking a Treasury Operations Senior Expert/Lead to secure accurate liquidity visibility and ensure daily cash, payments, and financing processes run reliably. You’ll work in a fast-paced commodity trading setting, driving hands-on operations and strong process improvement.

The role combines hands-on treasury duties with a focus on automation and scaling as the business grows, requiring collaboration across Treasury, Finance, Risk, and Trading teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Mathematics (or related field) with a minimum of 5 years in Treasury Operations/Cash Management.
• Hands-on experience with cash management, liquidity reporting, cash forecasting and treasury processes.
• Experience in trading/commodity trading or similar dynamic environment preferred.
• Experience with Treasury Management Systems and treasury-related technology.
• Strong Excel skills; Power BI, VBA, Python or similar tools are a plus.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Ensure accurate treasury reporting, reliable operational controls and high-quality treasury data.

TEAM AND ROLE:

The Treasury Operations Senior Expert/Lead plays a key role in ensuring STX has accurate visibility over liquidity and that cash, payments, financing and treasury processes run reliably every day. Working at the heart of a fast-paced commodity trading environment, you will be responsible for managing and improving core Treasury Operations activities, including cash management, liquidity reporting, cash forecasting, borrowing-base reporting and treasury systems.

This role combines hands‑on Treasury Operations responsibility with a strong focus on process improvement, automation and scaling the function as the business continues to grow.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage and improve Treasury Operations activities across cash management, liquidity reporting, forecasting, payments and financing processes.
• Ensure accurate treasury reporting, reliable operational controls and high-quality treasury data.
• Collaborate and lead stakeholders across Treasury, Finance, Risk, Operations and Trading to support day-to-day treasury activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve, standardize and automate treasury processes and systems.
• Contribute to treasury projects and initiatives that strengthen and scale the Treasury function.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Mathematics (or a related field), with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Treasury Operations, Cash Management or Corporate Treasury
• Strong hands‑on experience with cash management, liquidity reporting, cash forecasting and treasury processes.
• Experience working in a trading, commodity trading, trade finance or similarly dynamic environment is strongly preferred.
• Experience with Treasury Management Systems and treasury‑related technology.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to work comfortably with large volumes of financial data.
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with Power BI, VBA, Python or similar tools is considered a plus.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
