Job summary

Undutchables is seeking a Translation Quality Control Officer to oversee the QA of translated Quality-of-Life questionnaires and review linguistic work from LSPs to ensure quality standards. You will develop translation assets, coach teams, and work closely with production and project managers to ensure deliverables meet requirements.

Initially a 24-hour-week role for 6–8 months, it will ramp to 38 hours per week with a February 2027 start, attending on-site at Rotterdam and nearby locations.

Qualifications

• Oversee quality assurance of translated questionnaires.
• Collaborate with internal teams and LSPs to ensure deliverables are complete and accurate.
• Develop and manage translation assets, including Translation Memory and Glossaries.
• Master QC tools and digital comparison tools to review translations for errors and terminology.
• Provide feedback and linguistic coaching to cross-functional teams and external vendors.

Responsibilities

• Review incoming translations from suppliers and log quality issues.
• Propose corrective and preventive actions to reduce complaints and mitigate risks.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within quality or project teams.
• Attend weekly team meetings and contribute to yearly objective setting.
• Foster an inspiring team environment with open communication.
