The Role

The Transaction Manager will be a member of TrueNoord’s Transaction & Lease Management (TLM) team, reporting to Head of Transaction and Lease Management. This role requires a proactive and well-organized individual who thrives in a dynamic environment. The candidate will manage the lifecycle of aircraft leasing contracts, ensure compliance with company policies and processes and collaborate closely with other TrueNoord team members. Key Responsibilities

Transaction Management

  • Manage and lead the aircraft delivery/redelivery process both on lease and financing side with coordination across teams internally as well as externally.
  • Work alongside the relevant legal counsel on transaction-specific projects, including drafting transactional agreements such as (e.g.) lease amendments, side letters, ancillary documents and CPs relevant to acquisition/leasing or financing.
  • Support and coordinate other ad hoc transactions and/or projects.

Lease Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with requirements under the leases and manage lease contract ancillary documentation (letters of credit, insurance renewals, financing covenants).
  • Prepare demand letters and notices of default and participate/lead various stages of the alert process in the event of a repossession.
  • Monitor critical events (lease expiry, lease options, security deposits).

Lease Data and Document Management

  • Maintain, and update data in the lease management system and ensure data accuracy.
  • Ensure that the transaction documents are stored the document management system (currently SharePoint) per the company procedures.

Processes and Reporting

  • Continuously seek to enhance the processes and procedures relating to transactions and lease management.
  • Prepare reports for internal and external parties.

Customer Relations

  • Build customer relationships and respond to customer requests.

Other

  • Respond to/redirect internally “Know Your Customer” information requests per the company procedures.
  • Coordinate the execution of corporate and transaction documents.

Experience

  • At least 3 years of experience in contracts or transaction management in the aircraft leasing industry.
  • Experience with lease management software (e.g. CMS, Leaseworks, Sysco) and MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Education

  • MA in Law.

Language

  • Fluency in English, excellent writing, verbal and listening skills.
