Job summary

Quant Capital is seeking a Trading Systems Engineer to join its Amsterdam technology team. This production-facing role supports the systems behind automated trading, keeping the platform stable, well monitored and properly deployed.

You will be close to traders, developers and infrastructure, comfortable digging into Linux, logs and release problems, and you’ll work with a real trading stack alongside diverse teams.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting business-critical production systems.
• Good troubleshooting ability across applications, systems and networks.
• Understanding of TCP/IP, routing or multicast.
• Scripting ability in Python, Bash, PowerShell or similar.

Responsibilities

• Support live trading systems during market hours.
• Own production issues from alert through to resolution.
• Help manage releases, configuration changes and deployments.
• Investigate issues across Linux, applications, market data and connectivity.
• Improve monitoring, alerting and operational tooling.

This is a production-facing engineering role supporting the systems behind automated trading. You will be close to traders, developers and infrastructure, helping keep the platform stable, well monitored and properly deployed.

The role suits someone who is comfortable digging into Linux, logs, application behaviour, network issues and release problems without needing everything handed over.
