IMC, based in Amsterdam, is seeking a Trading Data Software Engineer to enable high-quality research with curated data and scalable data platforms for VMM research and strategies. You will build reliable, high-performance software and help onboard new datasets while balancing latency, throughput, and maintainability.

You’ll work on a young project, shaping architectural decisions and delivering global data access to researchers and traders.

Competenze

• 4+ years of experience as a Software Engineer.
• Strong Java (11+) programming skills.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes and Linux.
• Strong Python programming for data.
• Experience in data analysis and building data platforms.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and take ownership of your apps.
• Strong troubleshooting and proactive problem solving.
• Curiosity and willingness to learn about trading/capital markets.

Mansioni

• Code, test, deploy and maintain data-curation and data-serving applications for researchers, traders and data curators.
• Contribute to architectural design of our system.
• Build a high-performance system serving petabytes of data globally.
