Job summary

IMC Trading, based in Amsterdam, seeks a Trading Data Software Engineer to enable high-quality research through centralized data curation and scalable data tooling. You will empower data curators and researchers by building reliable, high-performance software and exposing data to researchers’ tooling.

You will work on architecture, performance, and scalability while balancing latency, throughput, and maintainability in a dynamic trading environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a Software Engineer.
• Strong programming in Java (11+), with knowledge of latest Java versions.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes and Linux.
• Strong Python programming, especially for data.
• Experience with data analysis and building data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Code, develop, test, deploy and maintain data-focused applications for researchers and traders.
• Contribute to architectural design of a young data platform project.
• Build a high-performance system capable of serving petabytes of data globally.
