ConNRG is a fast-growing energy transition company based in the Netherlands. As a Trader, you will build and manage your own commercial portfolio in renewable feedstocks, owning the full trading cycle from sourcing to margin delivery.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of experience in trading, sales, or business development.
• Background in commodities, energy, feedstocks, or renewable gas.
• Hunter mentality with ability to originate, pursue and close deals.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with ownership and independence.
• Strong negotiation and pricing skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Fluency in Dutch and English; additional languages a plus.
• Willingness to work from Rotterdam and/or Eindhoven offices.

What will you do?

As a Trader at ConNRG, you’re responsible for building and growing your own commercial portfolio in the renewable feedstock market. You own the complete trading cycle, from sourcing and pricing to negotiation, sales, and margin delivery. Your core focus is to originate and execute biomethane and renewable feedstock transactions across key markets, turning leads into recurring, profitable business flows.

You’ll monitor market developments and translate insights into commercial action, managing risk and margin performance in close coordination with the Operations, Finance, and Sustainability teams. This is a role with real ownership and real impact.

Who are you?

• 4 - 8 years of experience in trading, sales or business development.
• A background in commodities, energy, feedstocks, agricultural markets, or renewable gas.
• A strong “hunter” mentality, you originate, pursue, and close commercial deals.
• An entrepreneurial mindset with the ownership and independence to act decisively.
• Strong negotiation skills and confidence in pricing, contracts, and commercial terms.
• A good understanding of market dynamics, risk, and emerging opportunities.
• Excellent communication skills and a talent for building lasting relationships.
• A relevant network of customers, suppliers, or market stakeholders is a plus.
• Fluency in Dutch and English; knowledge of an additional language is an advantage.
• Willingness to work from our Rotterdam and/or Eindhoven office.
