Job summary

ConNRG is building a fast-growing renewable trading team in the Netherlands. You will own a commercial portfolio, originate and close biomethane and renewable feedstock deals, and work in a dynamic, international trading environment.

You will monitor market developments, manage risk and margin in collaboration with Operations, Finance and Sustainability, and drive direct impact on business growth through a hunter mindset and strong negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of experience in trading, sales or business development.
• Background in commodities, energy, feedstocks, agricultural markets, or renewable gas.
• Strong hunter mentality: originate, pursue and close commercial deals.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with ownership and independence to act.
• Strong negotiation skills and confidence in pricing, contracts, and terms.

Requirements

What will you do?

As a Trader at ConNRG, you're responsible for building and growing your own commercial portfolio in the renewable feedstock market. You own the complete trading cycle, from sourcing and pricing to negotiation, sales, and margin delivery. Your core focus is to originate and execute biomethane and renewable feedstock transactions across key markets, turning leads into recurring, profitable business flows.

You'll monitor market developments and translate insights into commercial action, managing risk and margin performance in close coordination with the Operations, Finance, and Sustainability teams. This is a role with real ownership and real impact.

Who are you?
