Job summary

Dorel Juvenile Europe HQ in the Netherlands offers an internship in trade marketing. You will join a dynamic team to develop, organize and execute 360° trade activation elements for events, retailer floors and web shops across Europe.

You will support development, planning and execution of trade activities, using Adobe Creative Suite and coordinating with stakeholders. This hands-on role is ideal for a marketing-focused student seeking practical experience.

Qualifications

• HBO/University level student focusing on Marketing, Sales, Commercial economics or related.
• Strong project management skills, well-organized, with an eye for detail.
• Ability to use Adobe Creative Suite independently (InDesign/Photoshop).
• Customer experience focused.
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team, proactive and analytical.
• Excellent communication skills in English, verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Support central Trade Marketing Team with tasks for events, trainings and product launches.
• Use Adobe Creative Suite to create assets (InDesign/Photoshop).
• Maintain overview of all projects and communicate deadlines with stakeholders.

Your mission

As an intern, you will be part of a dynamic team that is responsible for the creation, organization and execution of the 360° trade marketing activation elements needed for our events and retailer shop floors and web shops. This drives a successful product launch, sell-in and sell-out in the European retail market. You will support the development, planning and execution of the trade activities. This is the perfect internship for somebody who wants to get hands on experience in a performance driven European marketing team.

Key responsibilities

• Support our central Trade Marketing Team with various tasks in preparation for events, trainings and commercial product launches.
• Use the Adobe Creative Suite to support the team in creating various assets (InDesign/ Photoshop).
• Maintain the overview of all projects that you are involved in and communicate effectively about details and deadlines with various stakeholders.
• Support in day-to-day operational tasks and the possibility to support our team on-site with buildup at events, execution and breakdown of the event.

Your profile

• HBO/University level student with a focus on Marketing, Sales, Commercial economics or related.
• Strong project management skills, well-organized, with an eye for detail.
• Ability to use Adobe Creative Suit independently.
• Customer Experience focused.
• Ability to work autonomously and independently, but still a team player.
• Pro‑active, performance driven and analytical.
• Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written.

• An internship renumeration between €400 and €500 a month based on your academic level.
• This is a position for 32-40 hours per week, depending on your preferences.
• We are open for both graduation internships, as well as work placement internships.
• You will receive an internship contract.
• The option to work hybrid up to 3 days, with 2 joint office days.
• Other terms include travel expenses, use of a laptop, and team outings.
