Vanderlande's Steel Competence Team in Veghel offers an engineering internship to explore timber structures for large-scale industrial platforms. You will gain hands-on experience designing, analyzing, and validating timber concepts with real-world impact.

Starting February 2027 for six months, the role requires enrollment in Dutch higher education and residence in the Netherlands. You’ll work in a global engineering setting with cross-functional collaboration.

Formación

• Solid knowledge of structural engineering principles in steel and timber.
• Proficient with structural analysis software (SCIA Engineer) and AutoCAD.
• Creative, solution-oriented mindset with an enterprising and curious attitude.
• Strong technical background in Built Environment, Civil Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Mandatory enrolment to a Dutch Education System & resident of The Netherlands.

Responsabilidades

• Create innovative 3D designs for timber platform structures as sustainable alternatives to steel.
• Perform structural safety and performance analyses on timber concepts.
• Define technical requirements and design principles to support future procurement.
• Evaluate trade-offs and document findings on engineering, cost, and process impacts.
• Formulate clear recommendations and strategic next steps for implementation.
