Job summary

Silverlink Technologies in The Hague is seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Architect to define and drive enterprise cloud architecture across Azure, security, DevOps and modernization initiatives.

The role requires native Dutch proficiency and 12+ years IT with 7+ years Azure architecture, leading cross-functional teams and guiding large-scale migrations. You will shape cloud strategy, governance, and collaboration with FinOps to optimize costs.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of IT experience.
• 10
• 7+ years in Azure Cloud / Solution Architecture.
• Strong experience designing Azure Landing Zones and enterprise-scale architectures.
• Knowledge of Terraform, Bicep and ARM templates.
• Experience with AKS, containers and microservices architecture.
• Deep understanding of Azure security, Zero Trust and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Experience with hybrid/multi-cloud (Azure Arc, ExpressRoute, VPN).
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure Well-Architected Framework.
• Excellent stakeholder management and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Define Azure Cloud Architecture strategy, roadmap, and target-state architecture.
• Design secure, scalable Azure solutions with high availability.
• Lead Azure Landing Zones, hub-and-spoke networks, multi-region environments.
• Provide architectural leadership for app modernization, microservices, and AKS.
• Governance: standards, ADRs, and reusable design patterns.
• Lead cloud migration and modernization programs.
• Collaborate with FinOps for cost-optimized architectures.
• Mentor DevOps, Platform, Security, and Engineering teams.
• Ensure alignment with the Microsoft Well-Architected Framework.
