Qualifications

• Bachelor in Computer Science/Engineering or a similar study.
• Several years working experience as a Test Automation engineer.
• Experience in QA and software testing: test case planning, test case preparation, test execution.
• Strong Java development skills.

Responsibilities

• Designing, developing, and maintaining test automation scenarios.
• Executing automated test scenarios for functionality: regression, integration, etc.
• Gathering test requirements and producing test specifications.
• Analyzing and reporting the test results.
• Building and maintaining the test automation pipelines and infrastructure.
• Coordinating SIT and/or UAT tests with a test group.

Lely is a Dutch company that develops and builds robots for the dairy industry. It is Lely’s goal to fully automate the day-to-day farm processes so farmers can spend time doing the things they love. We are engaged in a major international roll-out of new 'best of breed' software in the areas of service, finance, marketing & sales. Will you help test this new innovative platform before we roll it out internationally in more than 40 countries at all Lely locations?

What are you going to do?

Given that Lely deals with many applications. That’s why we feel it is important to invest in writing automated tests and make them an integral part of our CI/CD pipelines. So what does day looks like in practice? We start off with a stand-up (we work in an Agile way).

Furthermore..

• Designing, developing, and maintaining test automation scenarios.
• Executing automated test scenarios for functionality: regression, integration, etc.
• Gathering test requirements and producing test specifications.
• Analyzing and reporting the test results: do know we work quite often with cross functional Applications
• Building and maintaining the test automation pipelines and infrastructure.
• You coordinate SIT and/or UAT tests with a test group from different disciplines.
• With your great communication skills you are able to share your knowledge and experience of various test types and techniques, systems, user groups and processes.

What is your experience?

• Bachelor in Computer Science/Engineering or a similar study.
• Several years working experience as a Test Automation engineer.
• Experience in QA and software testing – test case planning, test case preparation, test execution, defect management & defect resolution.
• Strong Java development skills.
• Experience with test automation frameworks, especially Cucumber and REST Assured.
• Experience testing RESTful APIs and writing integration tests.
• Experience in Salesforce and M3 (supply chain and ERP)
• Excellent command of the English language.
