Job description

At Bradford Space, we’ve been pushing boundaries since 1984. As one of the Netherlands’ first commercial space companies, we’ve built a global reputation for high‑reliability space systems. More than 2,200 of our products have been launched into orbit — powering missions with Attitude and Orbit Control Systems (AOCS), Propulsion, Avionics, and Thermal control.

We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Test Technician to join our team and help deliver world‑class products for the space industry. As a Test Technician, you will be at the heart of quality control, ensuring that every product meets strict specifications. You’ll execute electrical and mechanical tests, generate reliable data, and report results according to approved procedures. Accuracy, consistency, and objectivity are key. You’ll also collaborate with project teams to validate new test setups and improve processes.

What you’ll do
  • Execute electrical and mechanical tests following approved procedures.
  • Validate procedures and test setups in collaboration with System Engineers.
  • Document and report test results accurately.
  • Identify and implement improvements to test setups and processes.
  • Coordinate daily and weekly planning with Operations Manager / Planner.
  • Support System Engineers as needed under direct management.
What you bring
  • Vocational education level in mechanical, electronics, mechatronics or other relevant direction.
  • At least 2 years of practical testing experience in a similar work environment.
  • Strong technical insight and problem‑solving skills.
  • Proficient in English (speaking, reading, and writing).
  • Accurate, careful, and consistent in your work.
  • Objective and independent, yet a strong team player.
  • Comfortable working under time constraints without compromising quality.
  • Curious and proactive in improving processes and procedures.
What do we offer?

Bradford offers an international and dynamic work environment in the exciting space industry. You’ll contribute to innovative satellite solutions and collaborate with major aerospace companies, space agencies, and startups worldwide.

The position is based at our site in Heerle, located in the south of the Netherlands. It offers convenient access to major cities such as Rotterdam and Antwerp (both about 50 km away). Living in Belgium while working at Bradford is also an option. We welcome applicants of all backgrounds who have or can obtain EU work authorization.

We look forward to hear from you!
