Job summary

GeekSoft Consulting in Leiden, the Netherlands, is seeking an analytical Test Engineer to support the testing and verification of solar array components within an advanced aerospace environment.

You will prepare and execute functional and qualification tests, analyze results, document findings, and collaborate with engineering teams to improve testing processes across multiple space projects. Strong English communication and CAD proficiency are required.

Requirements

• Analytical and quality-focused Test Engineer with approximately 2–5 years of relevant engineering or testing experience to support the testing and verification of solar array components and subsystems within an advanced aerospace and space technology environment.
  
• Prepare and execute functional and qualification tests for solar array components and subsystems.
  
• Support product verification and validation throughout the development lifecycle.
  
• Analyze test results, identify findings, and prepare clear technical reports.
  
• Prepare and maintain test documentation, procedures, and technical reports.
  
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to investigate and resolve technical issues.
  
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and procedures.
  
• Support multiple space and satellite development projects simultaneously.
  
• Bachelor’s degree (HBO) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline.
  
• Experience working in a technical or high-tech manufacturing environment.
  
• Experience with CAD software.
  
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  
• Strong communication skills in English.
