Job summary

Offshore Wind Logistics B.V. seeks a Tender Engineer to manage tenders from RFIs to contract execution. You’ll blend technical know-how with commercial sense to create practical, sustainable proposals and work as one team with enthusiasm and integrity.

You will collaborate with technical and commercial colleagues to review tender packages, align requirements with vessel capabilities, and prepare costed proposals for clients in the rapidly growing offshore wind sector.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Civil, Maritime or related field.
• 0–5 years of operational experience in offshore or civil projects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, team oriented.
• Self-starter with customer-focused and representative attitude.
• Proficient in English with goal and result orientation.

Responsibilities

• Review tender packages with technical and commercial teams and prepare proposals.

In support of CSL OWL SRI B.V., OWL is currently seeking a:

Offshore Wind Logistics B.V. (OWL) is an ambitious and growing company. Dedicated to serve the renewable offshore energy sector, we specialize in hands-on marine services. In close collaboration with the company Canada Steamship Lines (the CSL-Group), OWL has set-up the joint venture company CSL OWL SRI B.V.
Last year this JV company has ordered two impressive subsea rock installation vessels with which the JV is now evolving into a leading independent marine services provider, offering comprehensive subsea rock installation services.

The position

As a Tender engineer, you will be managing tenders, from receiving an initial request for information to the review of contracts related to a Request for Proposal up to the actual execution of the project resulting from the same. It requires your technical know-how to mix with commercial awareness for this dynamic role. Your solutions are practical, environmentally conscious, and economically viable; we deliver as one team with enthusiasm, professionalism, innovation, and integrity.

As a Tender Engineer you will

• Collaborate closely with the technical and commercial teams to review tender packages and prepare project proposals.
• Align tender requirements with vessel capabilities, company standards, and documents, while validating technical solutions from an operational perspective.
• Play a key role in preparing and submitting tender proposals to our clients.
• Analyse tender documentation received from potential clients, develop work methods, prepare cost calculations, and conduct risk assessments.
• Consult with subcontractors, partners, and supporting departments to ensure comprehensive tender proposals.

Job requirements

• h3 interest in contributing to a new business within an experienced team.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in either: Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Maritime Studies, or related fields.
• 0-5 years of operational experience in offshore or civil projects, with experience in Subsea Rock Installation or dredging projects preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Self-starting abilities with a customer-focused and representative attitude.
• Proficient in English with both goal and result-oriented mindset.
