Job summary

Wlgroup is seeking a capable professional to join a long‑term engagement stationed in the United States, renewing annually. You will identify emerging technologies, assemble findings, and prepare the action plan to build technological advantage for defence programs.

You will analyze applicability to military lines of development, refresh vision documents, and engage stakeholders while reporting to project leadership. Strong English and tech research skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in computer science, ICT, engineering or related discipline.
• Two years minimum gathering and interpreting research and technology information.
• Knowledge of national science and technology sources.
• Experience judging how future technology applies in a military environment.
• Ability to work analytically on technology documentation and build adoption examples.
• Comfortable with office tooling and open-source research.
• Fluent professional English.

What you would be doing

• Identifying new emerging technologies and cataloguing the existing ones.

• Preparing the first draft of the action plan.
• Supporting the definition of initial and full operating capability.
• Building the community of interest and the stakeholder engagement around it.
• Reporting to the project manager and sponsor on progress against the action plan.

What you would bring

• A bachelor degree from a recognised university in computer science, information and communication technology, engineering or a related discipline.
• At least two years acquiring, assembling and interpreting research and technology information.
• Knowledge of national science and technology sources.
• Experience judging how future technology applies in a military environment.
• The ability to work analytically on technology documentation and build practical adoption examples.
• Comfortable with office tooling and open-source research.
• Fluent professional English.

This is a long engagement that renews year on year, not a short project.
