In deze rol ondersteun je offshore projecten met jouw expertise in technische cyberbeveiliging en fysieke beveiliging. Qualifications

TenneT is growing fast to realize its strategic ambitions. We play a leading role in driving the energy transition. We are looking for a passionate Technical Specialist Cybersecurity with affinity for Physical Security at our location in Arnhem who will contribute to this and that might be you!

Your contribution to TenneT

The business unit Large Projects Offshore Netherlands (LON) connects, via innovative HVDC (high voltage direct current) platforms and converter stations, windfarms at the Northsea to the grid on the mainland. An enormous amount of renewable energy has to be connected within the next 10 years. Not only connections to the grid near the coast, but even deeper inland grid connection systems will be planned.

Your contribution to TenneT

You will support our offshore projects with your OT / IACS technical cyber security and physical security expertise. In different regions in the Netherlands multiple grid connection systems will be built, together with our consortia.

Your main tasks and responsibilities are:

• Acting as SPoC on all security related topics towards the offshore projects that have to operationalize and implement TenneT’s security requirements, and as interface towards internal stakeholders that develop and maintain these requirements.
• Advising and supporting the offshore projects and the various projects with a successful implementation of security by design by conducting risk assessments and finding suitable adequate operational security solutions that meet TenneT's requirements.
• Monitoring and reviewing all design deliverables from offshore projects for your discipline and validating them against TenneT’s requirements to ensure that security procedures are compliant with TenneT’s requirements through each project phase.
• Ensuring TenneT’s security requirements are adhered to and implemented correctly.
• Finding and reporting gaps in current TenneT requirements both from an implementation perspective and from a constantly changing risk perspective. Aligning with internal stakeholders the improvements that are needed for this.
• Aligning with experts and teams within Offshore NL/GER and various other departments within TenneT and taking into account lessons learned from other large projects.

With your extensive technical cyber security knowledge and experience, you make an active contribution to a safe working environment for yourself, your colleagues and external contractors.

Your profile and background

• A relevant degree in cyber security or equivalent (BSc. degree or higher).
• At least 5 years+ of relevant work experience regarding security in mid to large sized projects OT / IACS environments.
• You have knowledge about and experience with security risk management, security architecture and engineering for OT / IACS Environments, industrial networking, IAM (e.g. Active Directory and Cisco ISE), security testing, assessment and reporting (e.g. Penetration Testing), and (physical) asset security.
• You know the relevant norms and standards and have preferably taken specialization courses in IEC 62443, GIAC regarding OT Security and NIS2. Additional courses regarding physical security (e.g. intrusion detection, camera, and access systems) are an advantage.
• You are meticulous in your reviews, while not losing the bigger picture.
• You have excellent communication and cooperation skills.
• You have a high degree of independence, initiative and assertiveness; no 'nine to five mentality’.
• You are willing to travel occasionally abroad.
• You are fluent in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Speaking Dutch is an advantage, but not mandatory.
