Job summary

VERSADO Personeelsdiensten is looking for a hands-on Technical Service Employee to join a state-of-the-art soft fruit packing plant in Venlo, Netherlands. You will resolve mechanical, pneumatic and electrotechnical malfunctions, perform preventive maintenance and contribute ideas to improve the production process.

You should have MBO level 4 in mechatronics, mechanical or electrical engineering, experience with production machinery, and the ability to work shifts (38 hours).

Qualifications

• Mechatronics/mechanical/electrical background at MBO level 4 or equivalent.
• Experience with production machinery in a food/packaging environment is preferred.
• Willingness to work 38-hour shifts and travel to Venlo, Netherlands.

Responsibilities

• Resolve mechanical, pneumatic and electrotechnical malfunctions.
• Carry out preventive maintenance on machines and installations.

You'll be working at one of the most modern soft fruit packing stations in Europe. Every year, millions of kilos of berries are processed and packed here in a modern warehouse of no less than 11,000 m². With ultramodern sorting and packaging machines, including a digital high-speed sorting machine, and cold storage rooms with room for 2,500 pallets, everything here revolves around quality, efficiency and innovation.

As a technical service employee, you are indispensable for keeping production running smoothly. You resolve mechanical and electrotechnical malfunctions, carry out preventive maintenance and actively contribute ideas on technical improvements. You are technically minded, solution-oriented and enjoy resolving malfunctions quickly and skillfully. Resolving mechanical, pneumatic and electrotechnical malfunctions.

Carrying out preventive maintenance of machines and installations.

Contributing ideas on improvements in the production process.

Maintaining the tray seal tools.

Assisting in mapping out the technical condition of facilities and assessing malfunction reports.

Helping train and onboard new colleagues/operators.

Helping supervise execution and advising on maintenance priorities.

Informing the Head of Technical Service of (impending) deviations from planning/quality.

Ensuring that objectives and KPIs are achieved.

Carrying out maintenance work according to instructions.

MBO level 4 in mechatronics, mechanical engineering or electrical engineering

Experience with machines in a production environment, preferably in the food industry

Good command of Dutch or English, knowledge of Polish is an advantage

Willingness to work shifts (38 hours per week)
