Job summary

agap2 Netherlands is seeking a Technical Project Manager to bridge technology, engineering, research and business. You will support the delivery of challenging R&T projects, manage budgets, risks and stakeholders, and translate technical work into actionable reports.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years in a technical environment, strong English, and the ability to collaborate with engineers and project leaders in a European consultancy setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management or related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant Project Management experience.
• Experience in a technical, engineering, R&D or innovation environment.
• Experience with budgets and contracts.
• Ability to understand technical concepts and work with engineers.
• Strong stakeholder management and organizational skills.
• Excellent command of English.

Responsibilities

• Manage project planning, milestones, deliverables, budgets and risks.
• Support Project Leaders in the execution of technical R&T projects.
• Translate technical developments into clear actions, reports and deliverables.
• Monitor project budgets, contracts and financial reporting.
• Coordinate contractual and reporting obligations for publicly funded projects.
• Manage internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain project documentation, KPIs, risk registers and progress reports.
• Facilitate project meetings and workshops using Agile, Scrum, Lean or Design Thinking approaches where appropriate.
• Support proposals for national and EU-funded R&T projects.
• Contribute to improving project management processes and governance.
