Job description

For our client, we are looking for an experienced Senior Technical Program Manager to lead the execution of complex IT initiatives within a large enterprise environment.

You will operate across multiple teams, senior stakeholders and highly integrated systems. The customer environment includes experienced SAP consultants and large-scale enterprise systems, so we are looking for someone who combines strong program management skills with enough technical depth to understand dependencies, identify risks and help remove blockers.

The role

You will take ownership of the overall execution of the project and ensure that different teams and workstreams remain aligned with the agreed objectives.

Your responsibilities include:

• Leading overall project execution across multiple teams and workstreams.
• Creating clear structures around timelines, milestones, governance, communication and budget.
• Managing dependencies between teams, systems and stakeholders.
• Building a strong understanding of the customer's organisation, reporting lines and decision-making processes.
• Working closely with project managers and technical teams on the customer side.
• Keeping senior stakeholders informed and driving decisions when required.
• Managing scope, change requests and commercial boundaries.
• Identifying technical and organisational blockers and helping teams drive them to resolution.

What we are looking for

You have significant experience leading complex IT projects or programs within large organisations and are comfortable navigating environments with multiple stakeholders, systems and dependencies.

Ideally, you bring:

• Experience with large-scale enterprise IT environments, ERP/SAP landscapes or major IT transformations.
• Experience managing multiple teams or workstreams simultaneously.
• A good understanding of system integrations and technical dependencies.
• Enough technical depth to engage credibly with architects, engineers and SAP consultants.
• Strong commercial awareness and experience with scope and change management.
• A pragmatic, delivery-focused approach.

You do not need to be a SAP specialist yourself. What matters is that you understand complex enterprise environments, can quickly assess how an organisation works and know how to drive delivery through technical and organisational complexity.
