Job summary

Our client, a world-leading streaming platform, seeks an experienced Technical Post-Production Media Specialist in Amsterdam on a hybrid, 40-hour week. You will lead content delivery workflows, train vendors, and drive operational excellence across the EMEA titles.

Applicants should have deep IMF, Dolby Atmos, and Dolby Vision knowledge, plus hands-on use of DaVinci Resolve and Clipster, in dynamic, international contexts.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in technical post-production roles in scripted series, films, or non-fiction.
• Strong post-production background with experience working with third-party vendors.
• Proven ability to train, coach, and support internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME on technical workflows and internal tools for content delivery.
• Train vendors and talents on specs, tooling, quality expectations, and best practices.
• Support vendors in adopting production and QC workflows.
• Maintain documentation so vendors can self-diagnose and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with Production Solutions, Production Management, Post Management, VFX Management, and Content Localization.
• Troubleshoot technical and operational issues across the production and delivery lifecycle.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, tools, and documentation.

Our client is a world’s leading streaming platform that is transforming the way audiences experience entertainment and they are looking for an experienced Technical Post-Production Media Specialist (hybrid, 40 hours) in Amsterdam.

Offer

• Temporary agency contract via Grafton CLA ABU with possible extension with the possibility of extending further. Currently, this role is not scoped as a permanent hire
• Start: mid-November 2026
• Duration: end of June 2027
• Salary: € 7.716,- gross per month based on 40 hours (weekly paid gross per hour: € 44,52); No travel allowance reimbursement for coming to the office!

The Role

the Production Solutions team is essential to providing our members with a great experience every time they press play by ensuring the highest quality of content delivery. The team plays a key role in assessing opportunities in emerging technology within the region, leading the integration of new studio technologies, processes, and tools, and providing expert support to ensure the seamless delivery of all EMEA titles.

You will be at the forefront of ensuring seamless content delivery and operational excellence on your titles. You will serve as a subject matter expert in the media delivery space, applying technical and operational workflows to guide internal teams and external vendors. You will execute self-sufficiently against regional and local strategy, with light oversight from leadership, and adapt your approach as circumstances change. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining the high standards of quality and efficiency that our client is known for.

In this role you will:

• Act as a subject matter expert on technical workflows and internal tools for content delivery
• Train vendors, and Talents on technical specs, tooling, quality expectations, and best practices
• Support vendors in adopting production and QC workflows
• Maintain clear documentation so vendors can self-diagnose and resolve issues
• Build strong relationships with post-production vendors, Post Production Supervisors, and technical teams
• Collaborate closely with internal teams including Production Solutions, Production Management, Post Management, VFX Management, and Content Localization
• Support delivery, quality control, and asset creation workflows for assigned titles
• Troubleshoot technical and operational issues across the production and delivery lifecycle
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, tools, and documentation

What we are looking for

• 8+ years in technical roles within scripted series, films, or non-fiction content
• Strong background in post-production, ideally at a post-production company
• Experience working with third-party vendors and improving operational workflows
• Proven ability to train, coach, and support internal and external stakeholders
